The state's data-centre policy

Policies are the weather systems of industrial geography: they do not build anything, they change where building becomes likely. This one moved the forecast in Dholera's favour, and it needs exactly one page of honest framing.
What a policy target is and is not
Rs 6 lakh cr and 7.5 GW are state-wide ambitions across the policy window: incentive structures, land and power facilitation, single-window promises designed to attract operators. They are not a Dholera order book. The market's favourite trick with such numbers is geographic transfer (state target retold as Dholera commitment), and you will now recognise it on sight.
Why Dholera is the named primary
Because the policy's checklist is the SIR's spec sheet: contiguous land at scale, the solar park's green power adjacency, Activation Area fibre and utilities, and industrial governance built for large single-window tenants. Policy naming concentrates the state's own facilitation effort there, which is why the L&T Vyoma agreement predating the policy chose the same address.
The buyer translation
Treat the policy as tailwind documentation: it raises the probability of further contracted campuses (watch for named operators, capacities and dates) without adding a rupee of present commitment. Land pitched today at policy-target premiums is being sold tomorrow's weather; land evaluated on contracted anchors plus verified papers remains the only method this site endorses.
